Pre-school

Learning Through Nature and Play

Finland’s kindergartens focus on a child-centered and stress-free learning environment, where children grow through play rather than academic pressure. They emphasize emotional development, social skills, confidence, and a love for learning. With daily outdoor activities and freedom to explore, each child learns at their own pace, making childhood happiness and curiosity the foundation for future learning.

Primary School

Building Foundations with Joy and Curiosity

Our primary education combines balanced academics with creative, play-based learning. Divided into Years 1–3 and Years 4–6, the curriculum emphasizes individuality, teamwork, and motivation. Students grow in a positive learning atmosphere where progress is celebrated daily. As they advance, they gradually transition from play-based to more structured learning, preparing them for future academic challenges.

Secondary School

Preparing for Global Readiness and Future Success

Our secondary program blends the Finnish education philosophy with the Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE frameworks. In Years 7–9, students develop academic, creative, and communication skills in a supportive environment. In Years 10–11, they focus on goal-oriented learning and can choose study pathways that align with their future ambitions. This holistic approach equips students with global readiness, confidence, and real-world problem-solving skills.

IGCSE Examination – Available for Private Candidates

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) is the world’s largest provider of internationally recognised academic qualifications for students aged 14 to 19.

Finnlight International School is a registered CAIE school and official examination centre. Private candidates are welcome to register for and sit their IGCSE examinations at Finnlight.
